The very diverse genres weave stories of love, hate, death, life, betrayal, and loyalty. But then again, anime is also WACKY. Of course, with religious symbolism, fan service, and giant robots abound, how can it not be?! So, in spirit of this, my socially inept visitor, this site is just as WACKY, no matter how serious a particular anime series is! So, look yonder above and explore the vast, almost horrifying, world of anime. I am not responsible for a loss of brain cells induced by reading my site.

Oh shit, it's been nine months... Better update the site.
Oh, hey guys. It's been a while, eh? It may not seem like I've been working hard at all. It may not seem that there've been any significant updates you care about. Well, yes and no. If you want quallity content, I ain't got much for you, as I was busy with UCLA. And games. And 24, Lost, and Veronica Mars. And summer spent playing said games and watching new anime. Hayate no Gotoku and Baccano! are what I'm watching. Have you seen them? They're fantastic.

Yeah. But if you look at the top of this page, right above the intro paragraph you can see style choices! You've got the sweet default layout, a hippie green layout, and an awesome red layout. Go ahead, play around with it. I'll wait.

Okay, besides the layout, I got a review of more games: Jade Empire, Fallout, and Fallout 2. Jade Empire's pretty game, but is it pretty good? (Yeah, it took me a while to think of that one.) Fallout and its sequel are oldies, but are they goodies? Read them.

I've been getting into modding Oblivion in the mean time, the first of which I made is a simple fix to a spoilerific part of the Mages Guild questline here. For those in the know, it fixes a destroyed area that never was fixed because people in Cyrodiil are pretty lazy.

Howdy ho, readers of this fine site! Welcome once again to the one and only Anime NEXT! Oh, wait... God damn conventions! Well, welcome to the new and improved Anime NEXT! If you don't know what changed, hover your cursor over the Anime NEXT logo up there. There ain't no HTML extension! That's right, I recoded this site into fancy PHP. Imagine that!

How does this change the functionality of the site? Not much, really. Most of the site will stay the same, but now it'll be a lot easier to do fun things with PHP. Like that rotating image up there by the introduction!

Okay, so for those who have waited months and months for new content...

Seriously, get a life. What do I look like, your butler? I'm not singing and dancing for you until I get paid for this shit.

For those who casually visit this site every now and then to see quality humor, well your wish might finally be answered! The newest content is a factual and incredible biography of Hideaki Anno. New updates include an addition to my Road to Artist feature. Now includes actually awesome artwork! And as you can see on the bottom of that, it comes with neat Director's Commentary. A lot of the features have such commentary added, so go and see my try to explain my shinanegans.

I also reviewed a few games that I played in my hiatus: Morrowind, Oblivion, and KOTOR 2.

Finally, I received yet another flame from one Keenan. You may know Keenan from such features as Anti-Anime Mockery.

So, my site is about 50% more awesome than it was. I'm thinking of adding more features to exploit the PHP-ness of this site now... How about a new poll? More features will come when the new poll technology is completed. Make sure you vote, because I don't want to make a new features for only two visitors.

Note, the only pages I didn't significantly update are my archives. Seriously, like Hell I'm going through each and every link over the past five years and changing them to the new format. I don't have that much free time.
